SUMMARY:
As a Supply Chain Planner, your primary responsibility is to ensure the efficient flow of goods and materials throughout the supply chain. Collaborate with sales, marketing, and demand planning teams to gather inputs and insights. Utilize statistical forecasting models and demand planning software to generate accurate forecasts.
- Production Planning and Scheduling: Collaborate with production teams to plan and schedule manufacturing activities based on demand forecasts, capacity constraints, and inventory levels. Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely availability of materials, resources, and production capacity to meet customer demands.
- Inventory Management: Optimize inventory levels by balancing customer service levels, production lead times, and working capital requirements. Monitor inventory levels, conduct inventory analysis, and implement strategies to minimize stockouts, excess inventory, and obsolescence. Collaborate with suppliers and internal teams to manage inventory accuracy and optimize stock levels.
- Supplier Coordination: Collaborate with suppliers to ensure timely and accurate delivery of materials and components. Coordinate with suppliers to manage lead times, resolve supply issues, and optimize supplier performance. Maintain strong relationships with suppliers and actively participate in supplier collaboration initiatives.

- Performance Monitoring and Reporting: Monitor supply chain performance metrics, such as on-time delivery, inventory turns, and forecast accuracy. - Compliance and Regulatory Requirements: Ensure compliance with applicable regulations, industry standards, and internal policies. Stay updated on regulatory changes, trade compliance requirements, and transportation regulations to ensure adherence within the supply chain.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, business administration, or a related field. Relevant certifications (e.g., APICS, CSCP) are advantageous.
- Proven experience as a Supply Chain Planner or in a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of supply chain planning, demand forecasting, and inventory management principles.
- Proficiency in demand planning software and supply chain management systems (e.g., ERP, MRP).
- Analytical and problem-solving skills to analyze data, identify trends, and make informed decisions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- Strong organizational and time management skills to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
