A Senior Project Manager will be responsible for managing and completing projects. This position requires someone who has experience leading teams, working with clients, and being able to produce results on time. The Senior Project Manager should have strong communication skills as well as an understanding of project management best practices. The ideal candidate will be able to work well in a team environment while also being able to work independently if necessary.

FUNCTIONAL DUTIES:

  • Determining how to organize a project and making sure that everyone involved in it knows what they’re supposed to. do
  • Creates project plans, including schedules, budgets, resource allocations, and contingency plans.
  • Leads and manages project staff, contractors and vendors to implement the project plan.
  • Managing employees’ workloads and ensuring that they have everything they need to complete their tasks on time.
  • Managing budgets, financials, and expenses related to projects.
  • Ensuring that projects are completed on time and within budget.
  • Planning and conducting project meetings to discuss the status of all projects.
  • Coordinating schedules and appointments for the project team members.
  • Identifying potential problems and risks before they occur, and developing solutions to prevent them from affecting the project.
  • Analyzes and resolves problems within the project.
  • Coordinates with all stakeholders as appropriate to manage change requests and other issues that arise during the course of the project.
  • Manages complex projects involving multiple teams or functions; may lead one or more teams in charge of specific phases of project activities.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Must have a Bachelor’s degree in business administration or in a related field. Master’s degree is preferred.
  • At least 3 years of experience as a Project Manager.
  • PMP Certification.
  • Strong project management skills.
  • Strong leadership skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and on multiple projects at once
  • Ability to work independently and follow instructions.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Visio, MS Project, SharePoint, G-Suite, Asana, Trello, Jive, Box, Dropbox, Smartsheet, WebEx, MS Teams.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and communication skills (verbal and written).
