SUMMARY:

FUNCTIONAL DUTIES:
- Reservoir Assessment:
- Evaluate subsurface geological data to assess the potential of oil and gas reservoirs.

- Drilling Operations:
- Plan and design drilling programs, including well locations, drilling techniques, and equipment selection.
- Monitor drilling operations to ensure safety, efficiency, and adherence to design specifications.
- Production Optimization:
- Design and implement production methods to maximize oil and gas recovery.
- Monitor and evaluate production wells to maintain production rates and minimize downtime.
- Well Integrity and Maintenance:
- Oversee the maintenance and integrity of wells, including identifying and addressing issues with equipment and infrastructure.
- Implement well intervention techniques to improve well performance.
- Reservoir Management:
- Develop reservoir management strategies to extend the life of oil and gas fields.
- Implement enhanced oil recovery (EOR) techniques to increase reservoir productivity.
- Safety and Environmental Compliance:
- Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations and standards.
- Address environmental concerns and minimize the impact of petroleum operations.
- Data Analysis and Reporting:
- Collect and analyze data related to production, reservoir performance, and well operations.
- Prepare reports and recommendations for management and stakeholders.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Collaborate with geologists, drilling teams, production teams, and other professionals to achieve project objectives.
- Communicate findings, project progress, and recommendations to team members and management.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s degree in petroleum engineering, chemical engineering, or a related field (Master’s degree may be preferred for more senior roles).
- Proven experience in petroleum engineering, drilling operations, and reservoir management.
- Proficiency in reservoir simulation software and drilling equipment technology.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and project stakeholders.
