- Resource Planning and Capacity Management: Coordinate with production, operations, and procurement teams to assess production capacity and resource availability. Optimize production schedules by aligning production capacity with demand requirements. Ensure efficient utilization of resources, such as labor, machines, and materials.
- Production Schedule Optimization: Optimize the production schedule by considering factors such as order priorities, lead times, production efficiencies, and material availability. Balance customer demands, production capabilities, and inventory levels to maximize production efficiency and meet customer requirements.
- Production Coordination: Collaborate with production teams to ensure effective execution of the production schedule. Communicate the production plan, priorities, and any schedule changes to production personnel. REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s degree in operations management, supply chain management, or a related field. Relevant certifications (e.g., APICS, CPIM) are advantageous.
- Proven experience as a Master Scheduler or in a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of production planning, scheduling techniques, and capacity management.
- Proficiency in production planning software and enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills to analyze data, identify trends, and make informed decisions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- Strong organizational and time management skills to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
