FUNCTIONAL DUTIES:

  2. Clinical Quality and Patient Safety:
    • Establish and uphold high standards of clinical quality, patient safety, and regulatory compliance within the nursing department.
    • Implement and monitor evidence-based practices to enhance patient outcomes.
  3. Nursing Operations Management:
    • Oversee the day-to-day operations of nursing services, including staffing, patient care delivery, and resource allocation.
    • Ensure efficient and effective workflow and communication among nursing staff.
  4. Staff Recruitment and Development:
    • Participate in the recruitment, selection, and onboarding of nursing personnel.
    • Implement professional development and training programs to enhance the skills and knowledge of nursing staff.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Master’s degree in nursing or a related field; Doctorate in Nursing Practice (DNP) is a plus.
  • Current and unrestricted nursing license.
  • Extensive experience in nursing leadership, including roles such as Director of Nursing or Vice President of Nursing.
  • Strong understanding of healthcare regulations, quality standards, and patient safety.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive change and implement innovative solutions.
  • Knowledge of budget management and financial acumen.
  • Commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
