CGP is a certification developed by the American Society of Consultant Pharmacists (ASCP). The ASCP defines CGP as “a multidisciplinary approach to optimizing medication use in older adults. It applies the knowledge of pharmacodynamics and pharmacokinetics of medications in older adults to optimize therapeutic outcomes.”
