A Banker, often referred to as a Personal Banker or Relationship Banker, plays a crucial role in providing personalized financial services to bank customers. FUNCTIONAL DUTIES:
- Customer Relationship Management:

- Account Management:
- Manage and oversee customer accounts, including checking, savings, and investment accounts.
- Monitor account activity, balance inquiries, and address customer inquiries or concerns.
- Financial Advising:
- Provide financial advice and guidance to customers on various banking products and services.
- Offer insights on budgeting, savings, and investment options based on customer needs.
- Product Sales and Cross-Selling:
- Promote and cross-sell banking products and services, such as loans, credit cards, mortgages, and investment products.
- Identify opportunities to meet customer needs and refer them to appropriate bank representatives.
- Loan Origination and Processing:
- Assist customers with loan applications and facilitate the loan origination process.
- Evaluate loan requests, gather necessary documentation, and explain loan terms to customers.
- Account Openings and Closures:
- Open new accounts for customers, including checking and savings accounts.
- Assist customers with closing accounts when needed.
- Compliance and Regulation:
- Ensure compliance with banking regulations and legal requirements.
- Stay informed about industry trends and changes in financial laws and regulations.
- Problem Resolution:
- Address and resolve customer issues, complaints, or disputes in a professional and timely manner.

REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, business, or a related field preferred.
